Personal assistant platform Helpchat has changed its name to ‘Tapzo’, a few months after removing the chat feature from its eponymous mobile application.

“Based on evolving usage patterns and customer feedback, the chat feature had been slowly replaced with an intuitive self-serve interface over the last nine months,” Ankur Singla said, adding that Tapzo will continue to grow as an app for all services—from booking cabs to ordering food to getting news feeds.

This is the second rebranding initiative by the startup after May when the company repositioned and rebranded itself as Helpchat from Akosha. The company shut down its chat feature in this same month.
