From the past decade, startups have been the contributors to much-hyped success stories, with a few new companies not just hitting it big, but changing the face of business in the process. Though there are some startup success stories that are interesting and inspiring, countless startups have been brought down to the ground in no time.

As important it is to learn from your mistakes, it is equally important to learn from the mistakes of the people around you.

In the Indian Startup landscape, we have seen more failures than billion dollar success stories. We all know of the handful of startups that made it big in India, like Zomato, Ola, Flipkart, Paytm, Practo, BookMyShow etc. But this is a very small percentage of the total number of startups that tried their luck.

Take for instance, the on-demand grocery delivery service company, PepperTap, that was based out of Gurgaon, has shut down its operations last month. It started off big, but because of strong contenders and poor integration of their application with the stores they could not maintain their position at the top for long. Startups like hashtag, benarasisarees.com, FTW, Discountbull.com, TechBloggerz,  Uncafe.in, SchoolGennie,  PayZippy, BlueGapeLifestyle, HobNob and many more hitherto unknown.
