Mid-sized IT company Zensar said its acquisition of the UK-headquartered user experience design company Foolproof for an undisclosed amount would help it overshoot its target of achieving 30% revenue from digital offerings

The company expects to make more digital acquisitions going ahead. “We are looking actively for more deals to enhance our capabilities. These will be tuck-in kind of acquisitions and mostly focused on digital because that is where the growth is,” Harsh Goenka, chairman of Zensar’s parent company – RPG Enterprises – told ET.
At the end of second quarter, digital contributed to about 28% of Zensar’s revenue and the company had even then expected to exceed targets. “With this acquisition we are already past the target. We have not set a new one internally but we expect our digital revenue to grow faster with this as we cross sell Foolproof’s services to our own customers,” Sandeep Kishore, CEO of Zensar, told ET.
